To save images to your computer right click the mouse while the mouse curser is on the image and from the pop up menu options select the save image as or save picture as depending on your browser.

Some browsers will let you drag and drop an image from the web page directly into a folder on your computer.

To set a picture as your computers desktop wallpaper or background, right click the mouse while the mouse curser is on the picture and from the pop up menu options select the set as desktop background  or set as wallpaper depending on your browser.
